Stompin’ Riffraffs emerged in Tokyo in 2006 and have since been pushing classic rock & roll into untamed territory. Fronted by Nao (guitar & vocals) and backed by the formidable Rie (bass), Miku (keyboard & theremin) and Saori (drums), they fuse golden-era ’50s rock with the raw force of ’60s garage punk. Their live shows are sweaty, unpolished affairs — a controlled explosion of pure energy. Firmly rooted in Tokyo’s underground, they’ve broken through borders with albums like A Man and Three Chicks (2015) and Burning (2021) under the Wild Records label. At Mendizabala they promise an unfiltered rock onslaught.
